James Bodroghy is a professional chef with over 15 years experience in Adelaide restaurants. In 1983 he and his wife Jo opened Henley on Sea on Henley Esplanade. After 8 successful years they moved on to King William Rd and opened French Bistro Restaurant Sixty Six. Since then James has helped open and run the kitchen in many popular restaurants including Mesa Lunga, Salt and Esca.

Opting now for more family friendly hours, James is able to make a difference to other peoples’ busy lives through The Cooks Pantry.

The store successfully combines his passion for food and cooking with his genuine support for quality local and organic food. James can now provide restaurant style food as easily prepared, take home meals, ensuring quality, taste and nutritional value with every meal.

All his dishes are made with the very best ingredients and no preservatives or additives. The café offers organic, fair trade coffee; fresh, squeezed daily juices; a selection of organic focaccias, baked daily; salads, tarts and cakes all made on the premises; a selection of The Cooks Pantry preserves, pickles and dressings. The Pantry also offers a small selection of cheeses and Paris Creek dairy products as well as seasonal organic fruit and vegetables.
